So there you are, driving down the road, listening to your favorite song on the radio, when all of a sudden, another car appears out of nowhere! They’d been in your blind spot for miles. Now, you’re either inches away from a frightening near-miss or about to have a costly fender-bender! Wouldn’t it have been great to see that car sooner?
The retrofit world is full of blind spots, some of which may have cost your business big-time this past year – wasted audits, excessive labor hours, bids unnecessarily lost, etc. Take for example the notion that errors in fixture count have a minimal impact, or that more efficient proposal generation wouldn’t benefit you because your back office is a fixed cost, or that your present approach to proposals is good enough since most prospects just look at simple payback anyway. The list of blind spots goes on and on.
As 2019 comes to a close, it's important that you head into the new year with "20/20" vision to eliminate these blind spots so you can see a clear path to running a more competitive and profitable retrofit business.
